The Chevrolet Corvette has been at the centre of pure American muscle car lovers hearts for over 60 years. Aside from agressive yet smooth styling, and a big donk to get the blood pumping with the right foot, the C5/C6 Corvette's lack a little in the shift department. Although many have attempted to create the ultimate shifter, Billet Products felt this had not yet been successfully achieved to date. With much demand, the decision was made to deliver what all C5/C6 Corvette owners had been searching for. Although shorter throw is always going to improve the overall feel, it is only at the beginning of engineering a truly refined piece of equipment. Billet products where determined to improve on specific area's that lacked in current offerings, and based on direct testing feedback, Billet Products have hit the nail right on the head with this one.

Through several development models and thorough testing, Billet Products achieved a throw reduction of 35% and have vastly improved the overall feel of the otherwise awkward Corvette shift feel. A lot of time was spent making design adjustments in order to attack common floors which are frequently mentioned in Corvette owners groups, in every step of the design phase. Included in the kit is a fully machined billet shift lever, nickel plated for durability and appealing looks. Based on the feedback received from professional Corvette workshops, it is by far the leading shifter on the market in terms of the two most important aspects of feel and performance.

Each shift body is precision CNC machined from specially selected billet aluminium and utilises high grade steel shafts, providing the perfect combination of strength and performance for the most demanding of driving conditions. To improve shift speed and precision of the infamous 2nd-3rd gear shift, self centering spring pack systems have been incorporated into each design to ensure a perfect gear selection everytime. Furthermore, the ingeniously designed fully adjustable positive stops add a little extra insurance for your wallet against overshifting and damaging synchros. Anodising and high tech steel coatings and new rubber boots with each item, are just the icing on the cake to what are arguably the best shifters on the market, period.
